It’s 2026! What’s been happening…
Over January, here at Shandy's we have been in full-on relax mode. December ended up being a lot more chaotic with the enormous demand on our awesome homemade products, which is great to see people looking after their own health and what they put into their bodies, but that does mean we have to keep up with unprecedented demand. Which is not just putting product in a bottle but sourcing the bottles, labels/labeling and transportation to outlets. And all the organizing in the world did not prepare us for November/December!
So, a big welcome to all our new customers and we hope you all enjoyed the wholesome awesomeness of our products over the Christmas break.
So January involved a lot of sleeping and catching up on gardening then restocking a few products, preparing for February.
In the Garden
With the very wet January this year it's all been about keeping up with the weeds. The heat loving plants are struggling along, our brassica's loved the cooler weather. We did have a great harvest of onions and garlic so although I don't think we have the space (at this stage) to grow enough onions for the Shandy's products I have calculated how much more garlic I can grow this year for the chilli sauce, so that's exciting! Hopefully the sun comes out at some stage to harvest our heat loving vege.
